Strip tests are the most affordable and least wasteful way to test, which is exactly why so many of us use them. But they come with one awkward step: finding a cup, filling it, and hoping you don’t get wee on your hands.
The Hoopsy Hold removes that step entirely. It’s a slim piece of card with four slits. Your strip weaves through it, giving you something clean and dry to hold while you test straight in your wee — exactly like a midstream test, at strip-test prices.

FAQs
Will it work with my strips?
Yes — it’s designed for any strip: pregnancy, ovulation or even UTI or ketone tests.
Is it reusable?
Yes. In our testing, we used the same handle 6 times. If you have a very strong/fierce urine flow then it may get part of the handle wet, but you can dry it out and reuse it. Or if you rip the weave technology part, then you may need to use another handle, but realistically this is designed to be used more than once.
Does the card affect my result?
No. The card only holds the strip. Your result comes from the test itself, read according to its own instructions.
How long do I hold it in my urine for?
That depends on the instructions for the strip test you are using; refer to those. If you are unsure it has got wet enough, give it a few extra seconds.
Can I use it for ovulation tests too?
Yes. Any standard strip works in the same way.
Won’t the card go soggy?
Only the very tip of the strip needs to get wet. Hold the card where the Hoopsy logo is, and the card stays dry in your hand. If it does get a bit of splashback, then leave it on the side of the sink to dry out, and then it is ready to go again.
How do I recycle it?
Recycle the card with paper and card. Dispose of the used strip as directed by its instructions.
